    Amber Rose Clocks the General Public

    In a new interview with the Daily Beast, Amber Rose went on record to say she doesn't understand why she and Kim Kardashian are constantly getting criticised as "former sex workers," while Beyoncé gets a pass.

    So if we could sing, it would be OK if we were on stage half-naked. We all love Beyoncé, but she's on stage half-naked and twerking all the time, yet people say, oh, she has talent so she's able to do that.

    We don't have the talent that Beyoncé has, so we get criticized as former sex workers, but at the end of the day we're just women — we're all women — and we should all embrace each other. No one is greater. We're all the same. So, to criticize us as incapable of being smart businesswomen because Kim has a reality show and I'm a socialite and we don't sing is stupid. We've both been in movies, and we take our acting, business ventures, and everything else very seriously.

    Amber put herself and Kim on the same level as Beyoncé. It seems Amber may not fully understand the amount of decisions Beyoncé must make as a recording artist, label-mate, and business woman. Beyond just recording music and dancing on stage, being an artist entails so much more, and a lot goes on behind the scenes.

    After pointing out comparisons to Beyoncé, she then continued to raise an eyebrow against male celebrities.

    But honestly, while I do technically agree with Amber's statements, I feel they're super disingenuous coming from her and I really think she's just jumping on this whole feminist bandwagon for attention. I find it so hypocritical and disgusting that she goes on slut walks and talks about women embracing their sexuality and then tries to use Kanye's sexual habits as criticism against him. :vacuum:

    I obviously agree with everything she said and it's ridiculous she's not allowed to do anything without her past coming up. Don't know what she said about Kanye, but could it have been seen in a "let me talk about you like you talk about me" kind of way?

    Beyonce's been in videos where she's pretty much in her underwear, tight clothes and shaking her ass but that makes her a strong body positive woman, but Amber walks out in something similar and she's the biggest slut in the world. Fucking ridiculous. Both should be respected regardless of what they wear or what they've done. I'd also love to point out that many of the websites that criticize her are run by men who frequent strip clubs. It's okay for someone to be a stripper if you can jerk off to it, but if they want basic respect you don't think they deserve it. Women are allowed to be sexual without being sex objects. :morning:

    I understand the reasoning behind wanting to attack someone in the same way as they attacked you, but if she wants so desperately to be taken seriously as some kind of feminist icon, then she needs to learn to rise above the petty bullshit and respond to haters in a calm and professional tone instead of perpetuating exactly what she's trying to fight. :morning:
