  1. Stars Dance by Selena Gomez (2013) Tracklist I've been getting into Selena recently since listening to Revival (which also needs a re-arrange, my friend did a really good one!), and from all the albums by Selena I've listened to so far, this one is my favourite! Given Skrillex was cited as an influence, which drew me to the album to start with, I sort of did expect a bit more considering how hard Skrillex's music used to go back in the day. But that aside, I think the album has it's unique charm to the edm pop era of music in the 2010s. The album is filled with bops back to front, my personal favourites being B.E.A.T, Undercover (the production budget was HIGH), Music Feels Better and Nobody Does It Like You. The only issue I found with this album was the 0 consistency, so I tried to fix that with re-arranging the tracklist and adding unreleased songs from around the era to fill in the blanks. Sad Serenade not even being a bonus track was ROBBED. I was going to add Slow Down B Sides but didn't as I didn't want to overdo the tracklist. My re-arrange isn't perfect but I find some of this does run better than Selena's in some ways.

  3. Bonnie's "wheel of Britney demos": I am 100% sure that she took them from this thread. multiple of these she confessed to not knowing or remembering in the past. the only ones we didn't confirm as Britney were DOD and Sayonara.

  6. Dua Lipa by Dua Lipa (2017) Tracklist I recently relistened to this earlier today, some pretty nice stuff. I remember getting the standard edition on cd for my 12th birthday so this was my first time listening to the bonus tracks too! Also read up on the original concepts and unreleased from this era as well out of curiosity. So I may actually explore more of her discography!

  8. this is cute! Kill Em With Kindness is kinda dry but those lyrics are CRINGGEEEE, Cologne is cute but i'd keep it as a bonus track and im also not the most moved by asap's guest feature on good for you, being a fan of asap myself he dropped some of the best music in 2015 and i hate to say that didn't match up to that standard. Also camouflage was a very obvious missed closer opportunity tbh. My friend's re-arrange goes something like this I'm looking to do my own re-arrange and possibly remove kill em with kindness. I defo think revival feels more commercial than it does consistent in a way. It could have had a solid sound palette and a good album to attach selena to that maturer image she aimed for, or at least tried to anyway, which could have been done by cutting some of the filler and trying to make songs that were more on par with the title track, same old love, me & the rythm, etc. I don't hate survivors but i find it painfully dated alongside other album tracks. breifly off topic at some point i want to re-arrange rare. I didn't hate it nor dislike the order but it could have had some brushing up but as an album it feels so fucking bland i hate to say it. look at her now is a bop tho

  10. @Crystal <3 ive always wanted to rearrange Stars Dance cos some of it does feel out of place in running order and them NOT including Sad Serenade was one of the biggest missteps in her career. other than that i havent really listened to any of the leaks besides that one tbh, i have the demo versions of Forget Forever and Love will Remember too but thats it lol i have the Target edition of the album that has the two Slow Down b-sides at the end and i think theyre both good songs but i really wouldnt know where to place them otherwise so i end up leaving them off the list lol and i agree with revival, its kinda bloated and needs a fine tuning lol i usually keep my Revival list with 1. Revival 2. Sober 3. Me & My Girls 4. Me & the Rhythm 5. Outta My Hands (sometimes ill move this to track three between Sober and M&MG) tracks 7-11 are kinda interchangeable at some points lol 12. Survivors 13. Rise Kill em With Kindness is just ugly and Camouflage and Cologne never stood out to me in any good way so those three are always left out of my rearrangements. edit - oh and i usually use the solo version of Good for You if at all, im not a fan of features in general. even less so when the rap feature in a pop song feels off or out of place like it doesnt belong in the song

  12. hii everyone, my name is harley + i'm from london ! have spent many years in atrl-adjacent groupchats and decided it was finally time to migrate to a site like this with fellow popheads! i'm a fan of any and all music, but i love the usual pop girls (taylor, lana, olivia, etc) and art-pop artists also! caroline polachek user + pfp gives this away i fear, but i also love twigs, eartheater, weyes blood, frou frou + imogen, dorian electra, etc etc etc. looking forward to meeting you all and maybe making some new friends! am always up for a music (or just pop culture! ...or politics) related discussion + love giving and receiving music recs + playlists. while I'm here, if any of you guys haven't heard of chloe qisha - go check her out! sexy goodbye is an incredible song and i think she'll see a sharp rise soon (in part due to the amount of money the label seems to be throwing at her hehe) hope you're all having a great week - feel free to say hello! (y si hay algún hispanohablante acá, ahora vivo en latam y si quieres decir algo también me encantaría)

  19. Phoenix by Rita Ora (2017) (cover by @Ice Prince) Tracklist Brought to you by my current thrive for late 2010s nostalgia and the music I used to listen to. Finally securing time to hear this project in full, I've fully come to realise and ask if it was hard to tell if this era was a dream come true or a total nightmare for Rita Ora stans. I was really here for her at the start of this era, especially Girls (Rita if you see this PLEASE BE A LESBIAN AGAIN) and Anywhere. What could have been a solid yet prolonged follow up album, we got served what feels a more commercial than consistent record. My first rhetorical question therefore poses as stupid: It was one HELL of an era. So I wanna redo the single rollout too! Singles @Ice Prince's tracklist from 2022 is very very similiar to mine, I just did my edits around the back half of the album bc I'm the biggest Girls stan to exist. However Cardi's verse is rather annoying, and RAYE was totally robbed. Aside from the promotional era and tracklisting, picking Cardi over RAYE was one of the worst choices.

  23. I don't like the trend of really short songs but I feel like the song more than make up for it. There's so much happening in there. Plus It makes it change from the structure of their other songs. I'm pretty sure it will be longuer live. They're performing it on red nose day next week so I'm looking forward to it.

  25. Really strong comeback imo! The song is fun and even though it's a new sound for them it still has that OG Sugababes cool factor. I could do with some more of their great harmonies but I'm sure that will come with the rest of the album

  26. Apart from Bubblegum from Kerli being my most wanted song, I also really wish we'd gotten the full Basto song with her Waking Up the Sun. It's so bogus it never came out. Been stuck in my head lately too We really need some good 2010 and beyond leaks. From the the iteration of her second album with Red Flags, I'll Find You, etc, anything else Weapons era/I-namine, and more of the edm feature era. I'm just Kerli famished tbh and those are my favorite eras that I want more from 😭

  27. If Queen Heidi Montag's 2010 pop album can make a resurgence, so can Lolene's infamous debut "The Electrick Hotel"! Lolene was set to be the next Lady Gaga, but Capitol focused more on Katy Perry, stealing many ideas from Lolene, including pop hit day star, making into Fireworks by Katy! we should all set a day to purchase Lolene on iTunes and help her album chart!

  35. I re-edited this because some time has passed and my feelings towards the actually released singles and some of the tracks I included have changed. I cut four tracks ("How I Walk", "C U Next Tuesday", "Magic" and "Not Coming Back") and re-did the singles list. Now it's a pretty much skipless album, very concise and it's bop after bop after bop so it would be nice to have something like this as her debut album this year particularly, the tracks run 4-10 is unstoppable, but overall it's pretty solid imo.

  37. Soooo "Jane", a new outtake from Ava Max's album Diamonds & Dancefloors, has just leaked but it had an open verse (it was rumoured that a more complete version existed but it was apparently debunked so that fell through). So I decided to add a new verse from no other than the queen Kylie Minogue (I'm on my Kylie phase) and it turned out pretty cool! Here, in case y'all want a more *complete* sounding version of the track. It's also slightly remastered to sound more uniform as well. Ava Max - Jane (feat. Kylie Minogue)

  39. I remembered that an unused drum stem for Text Book by Lana Del Rey leaked earlier this year, and I tried to mix it into the song. The difference is noticeable only in the first verse, but I think it really switched the track up! Lana Del Rey - Text Book (Alternate Version with scrapped drum stem)

  41. Let me bring this thing back from the dead lmao I did a mashup of In the Dark by Ava Max, with an Ava type beat I found, produced by BigBadBeats, the producers of my latest album. I think something like this would've suited the album better than the released song. Ava Max - In the Dark (BigBadBeats Remix)

  44. Lana Del Rey - Nectar of the Goods (Moonchild Version) Lana is including this one in the album, which leaked in 2019 as "Wild on You / Colour Blue". Apparently, the leaked version, which is a beautiful guitar song that sounds very demoish, is going to be the album version, and I feel it needed something else, so here's my take on it! I hope you like it
